In this interactive session you will explore your organization’s cultural elements and how these elements manifest within sectors in the company. From this place, we will explore different types of contributing factors, how culture can build up or tear down the organization and note the roles and vulnerabilities. Through an integrated approach, you will start to map what may need to be different to move your organization toward greater organizational health that aligns with the organization’s mission and vision.

Create a New People-Centred “Operating System” for Your Organizations’ Future

Like a computer, organizations function using an operating system that supports its basic functions. Traditionally organizations have been run solely by profit over all else.

  • Understand how the current way of ‘doing business’ (putting the past in front expecting a different outcome)

In this interactive session we will explore the historic operating system, how businesses have been traditionally operating. From this perspective, you will dissect your organization’s operating system and identify what is working and not working as it relates to vision and mission. Learn how the past has been holding you back from your ideal future. We will wrap up the session by creating your map and way forward, future-focused with tools for success.

Caring for Patients, Caring for Each Other*

In service industries, the foundation is patient care. Care workers may lose sight of the idea that the care they offer patients needs to be extended to their colleagues as well.

  • Explore the elements of excellence in patient care and how they are revealed in staff relationships
  • Gain more clarity about personal values and how they can be aligned with the organization’s values
  • Explore techniques to engage with colleagues in a kinder and more caring manner thereby creating a more positive culture of teamwork

Content

In this interactive session we will explore what staff already ‘do well’ as it pertains to excellence in patient care. You will learn more about your personal values and how you embody these throughout our work day with patients and colleagues. You will also learn how a positive culture can be influenced by: gossip, commitment, leadership, trust and accountability.At the end of the session you will be invited to create your personal action plan to move forward toward the goals set up at the beginning of the session.
